Editorial methodology
Transparent criteria for historical research and operator profiles.
Historical research
London Prize Network synthesises published scholarship, digitised primary collections and parliamentary records concerning English and British lotteries. Where dates or amounts vary between secondary sources, we prefer archival citations and note uncertainty in article footnotes when material to the claim.
Operator inclusion
Our index lists six brands that, at the time of publication, held appropriate remote or mixed licences on the UK Gambling Commission public register for services relevant to our editorial theme. Inclusion is not a recommendation to gamble, nor a ranking of expected returns.
Heritage framing
Each operator is linked to a narrative thread in London prize history — for example, grand draws, reform, pioneering remote services, physical clubs, lottery betting or syndicates. These framings are interpretive journalism, not statements made on behalf of operators.
Commercial independence
M3 Marketing Company may earn affiliate commissions when users follow certain outbound links. Commercial relationships do not change historical facts and do not purchase favourable heritage positioning. Commercial copy on outbound sites is controlled solely by those operators.
Corrections
We correct factual errors in regulatory tables or dates when notified with verifiable sources. Contact info@londonprizenetwork.com.
